Enhancing faith and knowledge.
The Islamic Community Center of Des Plaines (ICCD) aims to strengthen our Muslim community by promoting Islamic values and knowledge through education. ICCD is proud to announce the launch of an Islamic School, which will serve as an accessible elementary school (Preschool to 5th grade) for our community's future leaders. Additionally, the institution offers a successful hifz program for boys and girls.

The ICCD Islamic School is a state-recognized parochial institute. Our school's curriculum is in alignment with the Illinois State Board of Education standards. The ICCD Islamic School is a new institution dedicated to building faith and enhancing knowledge for the young minds of our beloved community.
Our curriculum includes levels PreS through 5th Grade, specifically designed for our Muslim-American community and to prepare our students for further education while helping them navigate the culture in which they live.
وَالَّذينَ جاهَدوا فينا لَنَهدِيَنَّهُم سُبُلَنا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ المُحسِنينَ
As for those who strive in Our cause, We shall surely guide them in Our way. And Allah is indeed with the virtuous.

Curriculum
PreSchool – 5th Grade
The ICCD Islamic School core curriculum includes reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and physical education. The Islamic perspective has an influence on all parts of the core curriculum by means of programs like Islamic studies, Quranic studies, and Arabic. The two programs are designed to go hand-in-hand as we develop a prosperous future for the young minds of our community.
